International Knights Festival "Genoese Helmet" is considered one of the five best knight festival of the CIS and Eastern Europe and is annually held in the famous fortress of Sudak. As one of the most popular festivals of Ukraine, festival gathers from 300 to 850 of the Knights not only from Ukraine, but from Russia Moldova, Lithuania, Estonia, Belarus and Hungary.

"Genoese Helmet" differs with its improvisation and excitement in the staged action. Spectators will witness massive dueling knights, tournaments for the glory of the beautiful ladies, shooting crossbows, guns, culevrin and trebuchet, dance performances and songs of troubadours, demonstrations of medieval artillery, armor and costume contest.
