Ideas for winter holidays in Ukraine: Bukovel ski resorts

How well someone once said, "Better than mountains can be only mountains of Bukovel! " Bukovel is considered to be a well-known ski resort of Ukrainian Carpathians and nice opportunity to find yourself in real winter fairy tale. It is not compared with Courchevel and Alps, but Ukrainian version has been appreciated and recognized by ski enthusiasts.

The word "Bukovel" has become a synonymous to skiing!

Ski resort  has being developed as if by magic. Less than ten years ago there was nothing here. Nowadays the famous Yaremche town of Ivano-Frankovsk region is basking in Bukovel’s glory. Within spitting distance to Polyanytsia village in height 900 meters above the sea, ski resort “Bukovel” is situated which popularity extends beyond Ukraine. The word "Bukovel" has become a synonymous to skiing!

Nature prompted the perfect place for the complex: majestic mountains (Bukovel 1127 meters, Chorna Kleva 1246 meters and Dovga 1372 meters) protect against chilly winter winds. This is exactly what skiers need as well as good skiing tracks. And Bukovel can boast the best ones. Beginners slowly roll down the slope, marked on the map in blue. Amateurs maneuvere in sweeping manner on the steep slopes marked in red. Professionals rush along “black” mountain in the spray of snow against wind.

The Carpathians can impress even the most convinced skiing fans.  Crazy descend from a height and unique trips on snowmobiles wait for extreme lovers. The nice entertainment can be a trip with a dog team Siberian husky give a ride on dogsled along forest trails.

Dreamers and romantics have wonderful opportunity to relax in the SPA, feel the charm of the Russian bath and at the glass of mulled wine admire glowing colorful garlands and flakes of snow circling in the air.

Besides winter activities tourists are offered to visit Ivano-Frankivsk to catch the echo of the past centuries and discover the history of the city and attractions.
