The palace of the Emir of Bukhara

One of the most striking monuments of Crimea beginning of the twentieth century is the palace of the Emir of Bukhara in Yalta. The building of the palace can be regarded as a masterpiece of Moorish style, which resembles the palaces of the Emir on the motherland by its beauty and luxury. Once, famous Bukhara Emir Seid Abdul Ahat Khan visited the Crimean coast, which he loved. After some time, he built a palace of incredible beauty with wonderful steam and rare exotic plants.

The Emir of Bukhara, vacationing in Yalta every year, was generous with donations, regularly singled out a large amount of money for city needs. For his money one of the big cruisers of national importance was build and named in his honor, "Emir of Bukhara." Nowadays, the palace of the Emir of Bukhara is the eighth body wellness resort "Yalta". Also one of the streets of the city are named in his honor.
