5-Day Tour of the Western Ukraine

Experience the best of the Western Ukraine on a 5-day bus tour from Kiev. Visit a romantic Tunnel of Love, walk through the ancient streets of Lviv and admire medieval castles in Lviv region. In addition, you will discover the Dzurinsky Waterfall and explore a cozy city of Ternopil. The main attraction of this tour is a medieval city of Kamenets-Podilsky and Dniester River Canyon in Bakota.

Tour program

Day 1 Kiev – Tunnel of Love – Lviv

Departure from Kiev in the morning. Distance from Kiev to the Tunnel of Love in Klevan’ is about 350 km. You will enjoy beautiful landscapes along the route. When we reach the Tunnel of Love, it will impress you with its extraordinary beauty. The trees that grow along the old railway track form a splendid tunnel that seems endless. You will have a free time to make pictures and buy souvenirs there. After that, we depart for Lviv. Distance 202 km. Overnight in Lviv.

Day 2 Lviv

After breakfast at your hotel, you will enjoy Lviv City tour. You will discover the most popular attractions of the city with an expert local guide. He will show you the High Castle Hill, St. Yura Cathedral, Dominican Cathedral, the Opera House and the Lychakiv Cemetery. Then, after a free time in the city center, you will explore the central part of Lviv, included on the UNESCO World Heritage list. You will see the Market Square, City Hall and Boim Family Chapel. Overnight in Lviv.

Day 3 Lviv – Castles of Lviv Region - Ternopil

After breakfast and checkout, you will set off on a joyful tour of the castles of the Lviv region. Our first stop will be at the Olesko Castle with a beautiful park. It is a branch of the Lviv Art Gallery. Then you will visit a beautiful Zolochiv Castle that consists of the Great Palace and the Chinese Palace. The next castle you will discover is the Pidgirtsy castle, an architectural masterpiece of the late Renaissance. The following destination is a charming town of Ternopil. You will have Ternopil city tour and see the main city’s attraction - a beautiful lake. Overnight in Ternopil.

Day 4 Ternopil – Dzhurinsky Waterfall – Chervonograd Castle – Kamenets-Podilsky

After breakfast, we will leave Ternopil and drive to Dzhurinsky waterfall and the Chervonograd castle. You will enjoy a splendid view of the castle. Later, we head to Kamenets-Podilsky, where you will have Kamenets-Podilsky City Tour. The main attraction of the city is a medieval Kamenets-Podilsky Castle, situated in a picturesque canyon of the Smotrich River. Overnight in Kamenets-Podilsky.

Day 5 Kamenets-Podilsky – Bakota – Starokonstantinov - Kiev

After breakfast, you will discover a picturesque Dniester River Canyon in Bakota. Moreover, you will see an ancient cave monastery there. On our way back to Kiev, you will explore the city of Starokonstantinov, and see a Virgin’s face that has appeared on the castle wall. Arrive in Kiev in the evening.
