Avenue in the center of the city – Liberty Avenue – has a very beautiful majestic construction – Bolshoy Theatre (Lviv Opera and Ballet Theatre). It is considered to be one of the best in Europe and undoubtedly best place of sightseeing of the city. In 2000 the Lviv Opera and Ballet Theatre was assigned the name of a famous Ukrainian singer Solomia Krushelnitska. Nowadays in modern theatre symphony orchestra, choir, ballet group and more than forty singers work.

In general Lviv Opera and Ballet Theatre is built in classical traditions with shades of baroque and renaissance style. The façade is decorated with three winged sculptures of Voitovich: in the center of the building there is the sculpture of Glory with palm branch, to the right – there is a sculpture of Music Genius, to the left – there is a sculpture of Drama and Comedy Genius.This place is amazing to see and be inside when you visit Ukraine.
