Svitjaz lake is the largest and deepest natural lake in Ukraine and is part of the Shatsky Lakes. Its depth is 58.4 meters. The lake is located in a beautiful area, surrounded by forests, and the air is filled with calm. The water in the lake is clear and soft, as the lake is fed by groundwater and artesian springs. In windy weather, the waves on the lake can reach up to 1.5 meters.

No one can say exactly when the lake appeared on the territory. But according to recent studies, glacial origin of Svitjaz lake was confirmed. The water in the lake is also unique in its chemical composition and has healing properties as well as it is full of silver, iodine and glycerin.
