Crimea will become the epicenter of cruise tourism in Ukraine

Development of cruise tourism can increase the number of tourists in Crimea. Today the cruise industry is the global standard of tourist services, including Crimea.

Season 2012 was a significant for the Crimea concerning the development of cruise tourism. 79 cruise ships called at the ports of the peninsula. They brought 60,000 visitors, 20% more than last year, and the Crimean ports was included in the routes of the world leaders of cruise tourism. This year, the Crimea is going to increase these figures.

Admission of foreign cruise tourists requires uniting efforts of tour operators, transportation companies, restaurants, guides, port and local authorities, who creates an atmosphere of hospitality and the Crimean tourism product that corresponds to the international standards.

The epicenter of the cruise tourism is expected to be Yalta. Yalta Sea Trade Port has signed agreements to receive in 2013, 98 cruise ships. The first ship calls are scheduled for March-April.
