Freedom Square in Kharkov is the city's main square, the largest in Ukraine and one of the largest in Europe. It is the center of conducting festivals and celebrations. Huge in size, it attracts thousands of residents and visitors on unforgettable holiday concerts. It takes almost 12 hectares, 750 meters in length, 125 meters in width. The area was built in the form of a reverse-neck flask to Sumy street.

In the center of the circular portion of the perimeter of Liberty Square there is a building of state industry - Gosprom. This unique architectural and historical monument of the city was the first high-rise building in the country. It represents a group of buildings, which are connected by tunnels.
