Schenborn Palace is among the most interesting sights of the Transcarpathian region. It fascinates with its elegance and harmony of architectural forms and styles. In addition, it is perfectly preserved both outside and inside, and almost in its original form. Beautiful Carpathian nature, fresh air, plenty of living creatures in the woods – these places were perfect for hunting. No wonder that the neighborhood was chosen and adapted for the entertainments of Austrian Counts Schönborn, who were the owners of this land. Today the palace is one of the buildings of the sanatorium “Carpathians” that specializes in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. It attracts a lot of tourists from Ukraine and abroad, especially many Austrians who are often descendants of Schönborn family.
