Among the innovations introduced by AeroSvit airlines in 2012 were:
1. Seat ID service implementation, which uses data from Facebook and LinkedIn, allows AeroSvit passengers to look at people with similar interests on the plane and then book a seat accordingly.
2. Improvement of online booking system at corporate website www.aerosvit.com. Payment procedure for ticket purchase became easier, number of operations was reduced.
3. Opening the possibility of ticket purchase using QR-code (two-dimensional bar code encoding graphical information), which is easily detected with a mobile phone. New mechanism for ticket purchase at corporate website is paying invoice at any Ukrainian bank or Privatbank self-service kiosk.
4. AeroSvit super special offer – a free ticket to high-speed train Aeroexpress between Moscow airport of arrival/departure and the center of Russian capital.
5. "Pay later" online option if you are not currently willing to pay for the ticket online with card, you can pre-book a flight and pay for it within 72 hours. Advance booking must be completed at least 5 days before departure. The ticket price will remain the same as it was at the booking time. Earlier ticketing procedure at "AeroSvit" website should certainly be completed with online payment simultaneously.
6. Numerous competitions took place at Facebook page and on airlines corporate website. Award tickets were given to 8 participants.
