Cancellation of hotel’s certification in Ukraine is the European practice

Ukrainian Cabinet Council cancelled the obligatory certification of hotels and the objects of temporal accommodation. It is expected that this project will help to reduce costs of the subjects of travel industry.

Previously, certification of hotels was obligatory without which many hotels can’t work and receive the stars. Positive thing in these changes is that in such way Ukraine approaches to the European standards. The impact of such decision is that a lot of Ukrainian mini hotels will be able to become legal. Henceforth, all Ukrainian hotels just will receive category according to European standards HOTREC which awards the category of stars according to level of service, presence of bars, restaurants, web-site, online booking and other additional services.
