Kyiv

National sport complex “Olimpiyskyi” is a universal sport facility in Kyiv, the main sport arena of Ukraine, one of the largest stadiums of Europe. Matches of football tournament of the summer Olympic Games 1980 took place at the stadium.  It is planned to hold the final match of Euro-2012 at the arena.

Kharkiv

“Metalist” is a regional sport complex which is situated in Kharkiv; it is a multi-functional stadium used for football matches and field-and-track athletics. It is a home stadium of “Metalist” club.

Donetsk

“Donbas Arena” is a stadium situated in the downtown of Donetsk in a city park of culture and recreation; it was opened on August 29, 2009 – The Miners’ Day and the City Day. The stadium was deigned for 50 000 spectators and its budget is Euro 175.8 mln. The stadium is not only a home arena for football club “Shakhtar” and a place for international championships of any level, it is also a cultural center of the capital of Donbas. This is the first stadium in Eastern Europe constructed according to the standards of category “five stars”.  The facility meets the requirements of “elite” class in accordance with UEFA and FIFA accreditation.

Lviv

“ArenaLviv” is a football stadium in Lviv, constructed to arrange matches for Euro-2012; it is situated near the crossroads of Stryiska and Kiltseva (byroad) streets. The arena accommodates 34 915 spectators.

As the stadium has a potential to host the winter Olympic Games 2022 (the Ukraine’s Government plans to submit the application for the consideration), most likely it will be the main arena of the Games, which is why there is an intention to modify it after Euro-2012.
